The Texas Gulf Coast is no stranger to severe weather events and winter storm Uri reminded us once again of how important it is to receive advance warnings and ongoing updates. For severe weather, timely emergency alerts and information during a disaster is critical to staying safe during an emergency. While every family should have multiple methods of staying informed during a weather event, the Encanto Real Utility District maintains an e-mail update system to communicate important news and information with Encanto Real residents.
